Forum: etree Subject: song, artist, venue, etc. info lost on flac?

I apologize ahead of time if this is not the place to ask this question. I just went down the road of downloading flacs from etree using a bittorrent client and can convert to wavs nicely using Winamp. But what about all of the ancillary information, song titles, artist, date, venue, etc? If I get a mp3 zip file from here all of that info is present when I listen & burn the music. Is there a way to get that same info automatically with flacs? Or is there a way to manually add that info? Any help would be appreciated.

You can manually add the info, yes - FLAC supports tagging, but not everyone uses it...
